PEE in focus

Amounts invested become available in the form of a lump sum 5 years after they are invested. After this 5-year period, you may request the withdrawal of some or all of the corresponding amounts or otherwise keep them invested.

PERs in focus (PEROB, PERECO, PERU)

On retirement, you may opt to withdraw your savings:
•    As a life annuity paid out for life and revalued each year
•    As a lump sum paid in one go or in intervals
•    As a lump sum and annuity combined
One exception: savings invested in the Mandatory Retirement Savings compartment made up of employer contributions must be withdrawn in the form of an annuity if this annuity exceeds €1,200/year.

Other retirement schemes in focus

Savings can only be withdrawn from an Article 39 plan with guaranteed entitlements in the form of an annuity. Refer to your personal user area to find out how much you will receive as an annuity if you liquidate your plan at the retirement age(5), calculated based on the entitlements vested to you at 31/12 of the last known year.
In the case of an Article 82 plan, you may withdraw your savings in the form of an annuity and/or a lump sum.
In the case of an Article 83 plan, you must withdraw your savings in the form of an annuity unless the annuity calculated is less than €1,200/year. In this case, you have the option to withdraw your savings as a lump sum.
